Cybercrime continues to be a growing concern with security breaches seeming to be a common occurrence among large corporations.  Our speaker, an agent from the US Secret Service will share with us the latest trends in Cybercrime in North Texas.  This includes a discussion of what methods cyber criminals are using to gain access to computer systems. 


The US Secret Service agent will share some methods that small and medium size companies can use to help protect themselves from these criminals.


But what happens if your company is a victim of a Cybercrime attack?  Learn how the United States Secret Service is involved in investigating cybercrime and how they can help a company if they become a victim of cybercrime.

 United States Secret Service Agent Presents Cybercrime 2017


Our speaker has over 17 years experience with the U.S. Secret Service, focusing equally on both protective and investigative responsibilities of the agency.  His responsibilities include supervising the North Texas Electronic Crimes Task Force and overseeing all Secret Service cybercrime activities in the Northe Texas District.  He has also worked on assignments such as Supervisor of the Dallas Field Office Protective Intellingence and Operations Section, Office of Protective Operations as the supervisor of logistics support and technology development, Office of  Protective Operations Staffing and Logistics Section, Dignitary Protective Division, the Vice Presidential Protective Division during both the Bush and Obama Administrations and the Secret Service Field Office in Houston Tx. 


Throughout his career, he initiated and managed high profile transnational fraud investigations which involved network intrusions and the theft of data, information and intellectual property from financial institutions and government systems.  He began his Secret Service career investigating financial, electronic, and identify theft investigations.
