"Fintech Frenzy" and Virtual Currency

While traditional financial institutions have long operated by housing multiple products and financial services for their customers in conveniently located brick and mortar offices, highly specialized tech startups have emerged over the past decade that are challenging and changing the world of banking.

In the face of these new fintech firms, will traditional financial institutions be able to adapt and challenge the opposition?  How do demographics, the Great Recession, and public policy play into this conflict?  What are the recent trends that are disrupting the financial services sector?

Are you following  Litecoin, Zcash, Bitcoin, or Ripple?   Matt Davies, Dallas Federal Reserve Bank, will share insights on virtual currency from the Federal Reserve Bank.
